Our vice regent joined DAR in 1993 and has held most elected offices. After transferring from Virginia’s Nelly Custis Chapter in 2010, she has served on numerous committees and in many capacities including Fort Ligonier Chapter Regent 2016-2019. Her Patriot Ancestor is Gerardus Ryker Sr. who served in New Jersey and in today’s Kentucky where he died in a militia defense of the Virginia frontier. Supplemental patriots are Jacob Smock, Petrus Demarest, Andrew Carnine, Dennis bice and Gerardus Ryker Jr.
