Who can join?

Any woman 18 years or older who can prove lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence is eligible to join the DAR. She must provide documentation for each statement of birth, marriage and death, as well as of the Revolutionary War service of her Patriot ancestor.

How to join?

A great place to start is to fill in a pedigree chart for your own family history. Once you find a possible Patriot, find a chapter near you by searching the National Chapter Locator or contact the Fort Ligonier Chapter by emailing fortligonierdar@gmail.com and we will be happy to help you start your journey to membership!
